He is useful in certain specific scenarios in the match. Therefore, Fuse can feel a little underwhelming to many players in the game when not in the right hands, despite having consistent opportunities to shine in the game with ample counterplay to his explosive kit. As time went on, players adapted to the legend's explosive play style and countered him by using various abilities. Moreover, his ultimate creates a huge ring of fire that could be utilised to separate the enemies from their team and isolate targets on the map. With Fuse, players can expect some guaranteed grenades are coming towards them therefore, legends with high mobility like Wraith or Pathfinder could easily counter his aggressive playstyle. Moreover, with his hand cannon, his throws are more accurate, go further, and faster than other legends in the game. What are your favourites? Write me a response to let me know.Walter 'Fuse' Fitzroy, the 54-year-old Bombastic Explosives Expert, has one of the most unique passives in the game, allowing the legend to carry more than one grenade in an inventory slot. For anyone unimpressed, there’s plenty of opportunities for Fuse to get more skins this season in the three collection events coming up and other seasons to come. Might not have the fire element but still packs a pretty hot punch.Ĭollectively, these are some pretty mid-tier skins for a pretty mid-tier legend. Remember the Fuse you killed last game? This is him but stronger. Even down to the stump on the foot and bandana on his head, this is a Davy Jones at his most haunting. The clothes look so ornate with the gold elements, even down to the barnacles while that pop of red on the belt breaks up the colours so it’s not too much of the same thing. The teal colour suits the undersea theme and the grey skin colour really gives that ghostly undead impression. The deadliness and macho energy of pirates really works for Fuse. Not to keep going back to Overwatch but this is pretty similar to Baptiste’s pirate skin and the Sigma skin from Halloween (reviewed in Skinsational Overwatch Halloween). Or at least half metal enthusiast.įairly conventional but easily Fuse’s best skin in the game to date. Having said that, this is still a decent skin that really shows him off as a full metal enthusiast. Some embellishments or maybe rust could’ve improved this skin a little and told a bit more of a story. Unfortunately, the metal is just a little bit plain and with so much of it the skin just doesn’t stand out enough. It’s like he walked in Robotnik’s robot machine from that Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon! There’s a real commitment to this idea in the way that the metal goes right up to the chin. In his base skin he was more human with some robot and now he’s more robot that he is human. He’s a walking explosive! It’s like a reverse cyborg. The asymmetrical shoulder is cool and the clock on the chest gives this whole bomb idea. The launch bundle is a cool new idea that gave Horizon a completely fresh look even though she’d only been in the game for a week! This cyborg skin is a pretty interesting idea but without the best execution.
